YES, the skis are commercially registered and there are laws you have to follow for your safety. The biggest one is the 200-meter distance you need to stay from everything, this includes other jet skis so if you’re part of a big group you will need to know you have to keep your distance from each other, and at no stage can you get close. Safety is our biggest priority and we have no tolerance for this law; jet skiing is much fun but it can also be dangerous; we have systems in place to ensure all our renters are safe and have an amazing time on the water

• Yes, 100%. No experience is required – to ‘DRIVE’ it, you need to be at least 18 years of age with a valid Ontario G/G2 driver’s license. Passengers do not need a driver’s license.
• We also accept the equivalent out of Province and international drivers’ licenses are also accepted.
• Jet skis are VERY easy to ride.  Before riding we will explain all the operational and safety instructions to you on the day of your rental.

YES 100%, you don’t need to know how to swim to ride a jet ski. The life vest will float you in the water if you fall off the Jet Ski. And it’s very easy to reboard the Jet Ski from the water.

• YES, a Free Temporary Boating Licence will be issued to you.
• You can also bring your own PCOC (Pleasure Craft Operators Card) if you have one.

• 18 years or older with a Valid Ontario G2/G driver’s license. However, the equivalent out-of-province and international driver’s license are also accepted.
• Passengers do not need a driver’s license.

No, we don’t allow pick-ups of our jet skis. You can only ride our seadoos/jet skis from our location

Yes, our jet skis are on the water and ready to ride, no need for towing or trailering – which is 100% hassle-free for you! We have a launch location at 4086 Bath Road, Kingston, Ontario, K7M4Y7 to best serve you.

• Price Includes: Free Gas, Free Passengers, Free Safety Equipment, Free Liability Insurance; and Free Boating Licence.
• No Towing or Trailering Required!!

Maximum 3 people. However, if you have a large group, you can always swap your passengers at no additional cost.

YES, kids are allowed to ride minimum weight of 30 lbs (13.5 kg) and we also have kids’ life jackets on request. However, always notify us if your children will accompany you ahead of your scheduled ride time.

Yes, we do. We can host groups as large as 30 to 40 people all at once.

Yes, Lake View Watersports is fully insured with a 2-million-dollar general commercial liability insurance policy.

Yes, the security deposit is $1000 per Jet Ski/Sea-Doo, you can use your Visa or MasterCard – a deposit is only required on the day of the rental. Once jet ski is returned without any damages your refund will be returned back to you ASAP.

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before your booked rental time to complete the orientation process.

• Yes, bring your original hard copy of your driver’s license.  You cannot drive without Age & ID verification.
• Passengers do not need a driver’s license.

Lake View Watersports does not offer refunds due to inclement weather. This is firm!

• What’s really important here is your comfort and safety first.  Jet skiing attire can be as simple as a pair of shorts & t-shirt, bathing suit, swim trunks; or a wetsuit.  And of course, the life jacket on top.
• Basically, wear whatever clothing except for Jeans & Clothing with sharp edges that might possibly rip the seat.

Yes, if you damage a machine, you will be liable to pay for it.

100% stay away from alcohol and drugs. The Marine Police will impose a very stiff penalty if you’re caught drinking while operating a vessel on the water while under the influence.

No, you cannot! To begin with, night lights are illegal on jet skis/sea-doo, and you will get a large fine by the Marine Police if you’re caught with lights on a jet ski at night. This concerns the size of jet skis/sea-doos and the confusion that lights will cause other boaters. So, our rentals have to be returned just after sunset.

Yes, our rental jet skis do have brakes for stopping.

When a jet ski hits the waves, it will automatically splash a little water on you. Getting a bit wet is all a part of the fun and excitement when on the water.

Firstly, you can Jet Ski barefoot. However, if you prefer to wear shoes then wear shoes for watersports activities like water socks or aqua shoes, that are made of lightweight, non-absorbent material such as neoprene to give feet some protection.

• On hot, sunny, windy, and hazy days sunglasses will certainly help to block all that sun glare from the eyes.
• However, if it rains it can cause irritation to your eyes, so protection is recommended.  Even though it may still be hard to see, the sunglasses will prevent rain from directly hitting your eyes.

The footwear period is not essential on jet skis. You can wear flip-flops, sneakers, water shoes; or barefoot. So, wear whatever makes you happy.

Renters are to be present 30 minutes prior to rental to complete contract and water safety training. Your rental begins at your designated rental time. Renters will be charged for full booked rental time if they show up late.

Your cell phone is mandatory while on the water, in the event of any emergency.
